Anxiety & Depression

Relationships

Our relationships with others are an essential part of our lives, and they can bring us great joy and fulfillment. However, building and maintaining these relationships can be difficult at times, and it requires effort, patience, and dedication. By reflecting on our interactions with others, we can gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and our own needs, which can ultimately lead to more meaningful and satisfying relationships.  Therapy can help you learn effective communication skills, set boundaries, and practice empathy, to help strengthen our connections with others and create fulfilling relationships that last a lifetime.

Parenting

Parenting can be challenging, but you don't have to do it alone. As a therapist, I offer effective ways to connect with your child, set healthy boundaries, and navigate transitions.  (we will also talk about your own self care). In addition, I am trained in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) which is a parent-based treatment program for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD and related problems. I have found the principles in SPACE can be utilized  promote autonomy in all children. Let's work together to create a happier and healthier family dynamic.

Aging

As we age, we face new challenges that can be difficult to navigate alone.  I provide a safe and supportive space for my clients to process these changes and gain helpful tools to navigate this part of life's journey. Whether you're a senior looking to maintain your independence and sense of purpose, or an adult child seeking guidance for your senior parents, I'm here to help.
