About Me
Hi, I'm Becca. My clients would describe me as warm, compassionate, empathetic, funny, and curious. They will also tell you I have a direct though gentle style and I don't shy away from the hard questions or big feelings. I utilize a variety of tools and pull from a number of different evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to each individual, couple, or family to hone the skills necessary for you to create a more fulfilling life, better your relationships, and build confidence and self-esteem. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I am committed to working together with my clients to help them achieve their goals.

As a parent myself, I understand the challenges that can come with raising children and adolescents in this day and age. I am sensitive to the needs of parents and children and how those needs can challenge and change the couple's relationship. In addition, have experience working with single parents and blended families.

I am also the daughter of senior parents, so I empathize with the struggles of seeing our parents become older and of changing capabilities. I am also well versed in the importance for the senior generation to maintain their independence and sense of purpose even as their minds and bodies change and evolve. Whether you are an adult-child with senior parents or the senior yourself, I provide a place for my clients to process these changes and gain helpful tools that can help you navigate this part of life's journey.
I believe each person or couple comes to therapy with unique strengths. Together we will highlight those strengths and work through the obstacles which inhibit you.
My Values
A Safe Space to Grow
My goal is to build a trusting collaborative relationship with my clients and to create a safe place where they can deepen their understanding of themselves, build and maintain healthier interpersonal relationships, facilitate personal growth, and overcome mental and emotional obstacles, as they confront life’s challenges.

Partnership
In my view, a therapeutic relationship is not one of expert and student, instead it is a partnership. I bring my life experience and training; you bring your life experience and inner wisdom. Together we will navigate your journey through life’s challenges to become your best self.
Authenticity
My clients will tell you I am approachable, and I bring my real self to session. I hope that will encourage clients to do the same as they become ready. I will listen to you, laugh with you, empathize with you, sometimes challenge you, and most of all strive to understand your unique views of the world.

Creative Thinking
I am curious by nature and I am dedicated to creative thinking, utilizing multiple therapeutic modalities, providing tools unique to the needs of each client.
Meaningful Connection
One of the biggest predictors of therapeutic success (positive therapeutic outcome) is the relationship formed between client and therapist. My utmost goal is to form a meaningful connection with my clients. This means establishing trust, meeting you where you are, and coming to the table with my authentic self.

Professional Growth
I am committed to my professional growth as a clinician and continue to expand my knowledge to be a better support for my clients.
